Trip Times

(We are in the Eastern Time Zone) – For your convenience, we run whitewater rafting trips on the Nantahala River several times each day. Our regular season scheduled trip times are 9:30am, 10:30am, 2:00pm and 2:45pm*. However, trip times may change depending on the time of year and the river’s dam release schedule so it is always best to call and confirm. Reservations are recommended to guarantee you the trip option and trip time that you desire. *Arriving 30 minutes prior to your trip time allows you plenty of time to check-in (at store counter) and get your group ready for your trip. If you are late, you risk being put on a later trip or a shorter trip.

MONTHS OF OPERATION

March and April: we are open by reservation (trip times: 12:00 noon).

Memorial Day through Labor Day: we operate 7 days a week (trip times: 9:30am, 10:30am, 2:00pm, 2:45pm).

After Labor Day through some time in October: reservations are required (trip times: 10:30am & 2:00pm).

We are closed around mid-October through mid-March each year.

HOURS OF OPERATION

We happily open each morning 45 minutes prior to our first trip time (15 minutes prior to our first check-in time) and close each day when the last customer bids their farewell.
